Time Management Tips For NEET 2025

Time management is the most crucial aspect in both preparation and writing exams. Let’s discuss the major factors one by one.

Tips To Follow During The NEET 2025 Exam

  • Allocate Time for Each Section: In consideration to the number of questions, manage time for Biology (50%), Chemistry (25%) and Physics (25%).
  •  Biology: An approximate time of one hour will suffice
  •  Chemistry: Take about 45 minutes for this section
  • Physics: Take an approximate time of 45 minutes for this section
  • Avoid Spending Too Much Time on One Question: If you think you are taking a long to answer, move past the question and backtrack to it at a later stage.
  • Start with Your Strengths: Engage in the sections that you feel are your strong points so as to help you stay more concentrated and increase your confidence levels.
  • Suggested Order: While answering the paper, use the following order for better results, i.e. biology, chemistry, and then finish with physics as physics is usually the longest.
  • Read the Questions Carefully: Ensure to understand the requirement of the question by taking your time.
  • Be careful with such words as NOT, EXCEPT, or TRUE/FALSE since they have the potential to reverse the requirements of the question.
  • Use the Elimination Technique: if one doesn’t know what the correct answer is, they can cross out all the obvious incorrect options, as this would assist in allowing them to make the best educated guess out of the remaining options.
  • Keep Track of Time: Keep track of time without letting it put you under pressure, track time realistically after every second section to enable you to better manage your time.
  • Example: After Biology, use time management and ensure that the time left for chemistry and physics is ninety minutes.
